The role supports the Dealer Principal in the sales division managing the full sales process to achieve the agreed sales budget. This requires performance management in the process tracking lead generation to enquiry ensuring the sales team follow a professional sales process to deliver a first-class customer experience during the purchase journey. Supporting the sales team to achieve the sales volume and profit margins including all add-on products. This includes supporting the finance process for a customer to purchase a vehicle and ensuring the process manages customer expectation.
Strategic:
1. Manage the defined key performance indicators to maximize sales opportunities 2. Support the Dealer Principal to manage the annual budget to achieve unit sales, gross margin retention, additional income from add-on products such as finance and insurance. 3. Support the sales operation to ensure the operation supports to drive to maximize unit sales and avoid risk of aging stock. 4. Manage the sales process and transaction process using the tools available such as the dealer management system. 5. Support the Dealer Principal in areas of training and development defined by the AG Auto way of selling.
Operational:
1. Carry out the daily sales meeting monitoring all sales enquires and sales activity through the DMS 2. Manage the finance and insurance process including additional sales revenue from finance, insurance and accessories. 3. Second face support to maximizing every sales opportunity. 4. Ensure all sales are follow through, meeting customer expectation. 5. Drive the customer engagement program the minimum standards set by the brand and business. 5. Manage customer complaints with resolution outcome. 6. Support the Dealer Principal in maintenance of the showroom display including all hygiene factors, following HSSE guidelines. 7. Ensure policies and legal requirements are followed to protect customer data. 8. Act as an ambassador for the brand and the business leading by example.
People Management:
1. Provide coaching based support in matters related to associate performance and behavior. 2. Direct support working with the HR shared service team for the hiring process. 3. Ensure disciplinary requirements are carried out in accordance with AGI and governmental requirements.
