Job Purpose Support the design team in preparing bid proposals for business development team in guidance of Technical Manager. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or entry-level engineer to gain hands-on experience in solar PV project design and estimation. Job Responsibilities * Assist in performing preliminary data analysis to evaluate the feasibility of potential PV Solar assets * Collaborate with the Design and Estimation Engineer in conducting preliminary and detailed designs, focusing on technical configuration and optimization * Participate in PV-Syst, Helioscope, Homer output simulations * Assist with solar lab reports and shading analysis * Support the Design and Estimation Engineer in ensuring compliance with industry standards, utilities' guidelines, and environmental requirements, utilizing the latest technologies available * Maintain a close relationship with the core design team and execution team to facilitate the gaining of experience and knowledge * Gain an understanding of region-specific regulations and issues relevant to Solar PV projects, including lease models, PPA contracts, and EPC contracts * Assist in generating project estimation sheets (CAPEX & OPEX) and project schedules as per guidelines from the Technical Manager * Provide input and align with the Supply Chain team on solar product pricing, availability, and system updates * Support and provide technical expertise during site surveys to design effective solar solutions and electrical integrations suitable for site conditions * Attend project kick-off meetings to gather design enhancement feedback and apply it to new opportunities * Collaborate with the Project Execution team to ensure smooth project construction in alignment with approved designs, industry standards, utility requirements, and manufacturer recommendations * Provide support during various project stages, including inspection, installation, and testing if required * Propose new ideas for consistent design optimization, ease of implementation, and improved operation and maintenance of Solar PV systems, contributing to EEE's competitiveness and market share * Attend supplier training seminars and webinars to stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the market Job Requirements Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Experience * Must have internship or study project experience.
