Oversee and manage all welding activities in Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Develop and review welding procedures (WPS/PQR), ensuring they meet the required standards and are properly followed during project execution.
Provide technical support for welding operations, troubleshooting welding-related issues, and ensuring the quality of welded joints.
Conduct NDT inspections including RT (Radiographic Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), and PT (Penetrant Testing) to ensure the quality and integrity of welded components.
Lead and manage welding teams to ensure safe and efficient welding processes in line with the project’s technical requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that welding activities are integrated into the project’s overall execution plan.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, AWS, and ISO 9001 during welding operations.
Develop and maintain welding-related documentation, including weld maps, inspection records, and compliance reports.
Conduct training sessions for junior welding engineers and field welders to improve welding practices and quality standards.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of welding activities, ensuring corrective actions are taken when required.
