The Project Manager – HVAC, ESCO Systems is a key role directly reporting to Branch Manager. You will be based in Qatar and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for HVAC, ESCO Systems.You will lead the project management efforts on designing and execution of projects. You will manage the assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and will interact daily with customers to interpret their needs and requirements and map them in the field and coordinate with internal stakeholders.How you will do itAs an experienced Project Manager, you should have expertise in project execution and advance knowledge of designing of HVAC solutions involving Chillers, AHU, FCUs, Energy solutions in the Middle East region. You have to;Initiate and respond to contractual issues throughout contract & Project phase.Monitor project progress and prepare project progress reports and represent company in customer project, quality and HSE meetings.Responsible for formal (letter)/ informal (verbal) communication with customers and for invoicing processing and collection of payments from customers.Be responsible for preparation of technical submittals and submission to customers and responsible for production and issuance of design drawings/ calculation.Prepare and comply with project quality plan and Inspection & test plans and ensure full compliance of project with specification and customer requirement.Assume full responsibility for cost management of the projects, Prepare and submit monthly project cost reports to senior management for review.Initiate change process to manage variations to contract and Follow project to completion and ensure final payment.Ensure key milestone dates are met – if delays occur, then to develop plan to bring the project back on the track.Manage all allocated resources and resources to complete the project on time and under budget and responsible for raising requests for resources within budgeted allowance.Responsible for Development and training of allocated personnel.To be conversant with company and customer QHSE policies/ procedures and ensure that operatives understand and implement them in their responsible areas.Liaise with QA/QC and HSE managers on all aspects of Quality and HSE.Prepare and submit project completion feedback report to sales dept.Monitor progress of sub-contracted works, wherever applicable and ensure all applicable QHSE documents are available at point of use, in particular project specific QHSE documents are available at site.Ensure complete project data/ records are archived after completion of project and are forwarded to IS dept. for effective archiving.To ensure non-conformities in materials/ products are dealt in accordance with applicable management system procedure and appropriate corrective and preventive actions taken to prevent recurrence/ occurrence of non-conformities.To ensure required inspections and test of products are performed, inspection & test records maintained, prior to products handover to customers.
