Logistics Coordinator
Role Overview: The Logistics Coordinator & Customer Service is responsible for managing warehouse logistics and shipping operations for KGS across the UAE. The role oversees the complete shipping cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and damage-free movement of goods. Responsibilities include preparing shipment documentation, coordinating with suppliers and customers, arranging deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position works closely with the Sales team and supervises warehousing activities to ensure smooth operations and timely reporting. ________________________________________ 2. Main Responsibilities (Applicable to All UAE Companies) • Prepare shipment documentation for imports, exports, and local deliveries. • Secure final approval for purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement. • Confirm sales orders and arrange prompt deliveries to customers. • Prepare delivery notes, delivery schedules, and export shipping documentation. • Provide customer service support for all UAE entities. • Coordinate with the Sales team to prepare documentation for new orders. • Provide monthly stock position updates to the Sales team. • Identify opportunities to reduce shipment and logistics-related costs. • Coordinate with the stores/warehouse team for proper documentation of receipts and dispatches. • Conduct monthly customs reconciliation for imports and exports in Dubai and Sharjah. • Prepare documentation for VAT and other statutory filings. • Assist with inventory checks at all locations. • Support the Accountant-in-Charge with logistics and book keeping activities across all UAE locations. ________________________________________ 3.
