Soil testing profile- you are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end laboratory testing operations, ensuring all soil, material, and environmental samples are collected, processed, and analyzed according to ISO, APHA, and global testing standards. Practice correct sampling procedures, maintain strict quality protocols, and ensure accurate and timely reporting for all projects assigned to the Geomatics Laboratory.A key part of your role involves managing data accuracy and documentation integrity. You review and validate all test results before report submission, ensure that records and samples are maintained for audit readiness, and oversee the timely uploading of results into the LIMS/LMS system. In addition to technical duties, you are responsible for equipment upkeep, safety compliance, and team development. You monitor calibration schedules, maintain chemical and reagent usage logs, and ensure the laboratory environment meets regulatory and ISO standards. You mentor junior chemists, ensure they follow proper testing techniques, and lead continuous improvements within the lab to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and testing quality.
