Position OverviewThe Project Manager – Smart Modular Solutions is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering Smart Modular POD projects from initiation to handover. This includes overseeing engineering, procurement, production, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires strong technical understanding of modular construction, MEP integration, smart systems, and client-facing communication.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Project Planning & CoordinationLead end-to-end project planning including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.Prepare project execution plans, timelines, and milestone charts.Conduct project kickoff meetings and regular coordination meetings with internal teams (engineering, production, supply chain, QA/QC, logistics, site team).B. Technical & Engineering OversightReview and validate technical drawings, engineering designs, materials, and specifications.Coordinate with the engineering team for technical submittals and client approvals.Ensure integration of smart systems, MEP, fire safety, and modular structural requirements.C. Procurement & Material ManagementCoordinate with procurement for timely material sourcing as per project BOQs.Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and critical material timelines.Ensure cost control and adherence to approved project budgets.D. Production & Factory ExecutionWork closely with the factory team to ensure PODs are manufactured as per approved drawings and quality standards.Monitor daily production progress and resolve bottlenecks.Ensure compliance with quality and safety guidelines during fabrication and assembly.E. Site Execution & InstallationPlan and manage logistics, delivery, site installation, commissioning, and handover.Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Conduct site inspections, progress reporting, and ensure alignment with client requirements.F. Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.Manage client expectations, technical clarifications, and sign-offs.Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and performance dashboards.G. Documentation & ReportingPrepare project documentation: project schedules, progress reports, change orders, risk assessments, and final handover documentation.Maintain accurate records for claims, variations, approvals, and contractual compliance.Conduct post-project evaluation and lessons-learned reports.3. Qualifications & SkillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing construction or modular building projects.Experience in Smart Modular Buildings, PODs, prefabricated structures, MEP systems, or industrial modular solutions.Proven track record of delivering fast-track projects.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of modular construction, MEP integration, smart controls, and prefabrication processes.Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, and engineering documentation.Knowledge of QA/QC processes, HSE procedures, and project cost control.Behavioral SkillsStrong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.4.
