Job / Position Title:Project Manager - MechanicalFunction / Department:MechanicalPosition reports to:CEOLocation:Abu Dhabi, UAECTC:As per market standardsPrimary purpose of the position:Overall project management, engineering, execution, procurement and maintenance of Mechanical equipment and utilities.Essential duties / responsibilities of the position:Project Management:· Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.· Develop project plans and schedules.Maintenance and Operations:· Oversee the maintenance of mechanical systems and related utilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.· Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues promptly.Acquisition and Procurement:· Identify, evaluate, and procure necessary equipment and materials for mechanical engineering projects.· Vendor identification, assessment, floating technical enquiries, quotation assessment, preparing comparison and negotiate to ensure cost-effective procurement..Liaison:· Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed.· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.Knowledge/ Skills/ AbilitiesPOSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum years of experience:10-15 years of experience, majorly in end to end project execution (greenfield).KnowledgeIn-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance of utilities, mechanical processes and statutory regulations of UAEIT SkillsExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), data analysis, and integration of IT and OT systems is good to have.Nature of experience:The candidate must be from the Refractory, Cement, Steel or other related industry with proven experience in managing and executing projects from start to finish. Must have strong leadership and team management skills.Additional PointsThe candidate must currently working in UAE. Age group of 30-35 years is preferred. Extensive project experience is a must. Must be an early joiner.
