Perform comprehensive inspections of welded components to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.Interpret and review welding blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine quality requirements.Utilize various inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, ultrasonic testers, and hardness testers, to conduct precise measurements.Ensure compliance with relevant quality control standards, such as AWS (American Welding Society), ISO 9001, and ASME.Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities; collaborate with the production team to implement effective corrective actions.Conduct both destructive and non-destructive testing (e.g., ultrasonic testing, X-ray, dye penetrant testing) as necessary.Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols within the workshop environment.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes, quality, and productivity.Collaborate with management to resolve quality issues and support project requirements.
