1. Operate and maintain a variety of pile driving equipment, including hydraulic hammers, vibratory hammers, diesel hammers, and impact hammers. Specific previous experience to BAUER BG24H or equivalent is preferred.2. Drive piles vertically or at an angle into the ground, using precise techniques to ensure accurate placement and alignment.3. Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the location and depth of piles, as well as the required driving force and method.4. Inspect and prepare the work area, including clearing debris and obstructions, and ensuring adequate stability for the equipment.5. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient operation.6. Collaborate with the construction team to ensure proper coordination and sequencing of pile driving activities.7. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on pile driving equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.8. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.9. Document and communicate any issues, concerns, or incidents related to pile driving operations to the appropriate personnel.10. 1. Inspect and analyze electric components of equipment and determine issues that require maintenance and/or repair works.2. Undertake complete repair and maintenance works required for the equipment until completion of required scope and handing over equipment fully functional.3. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient electrical operation.4. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on pile driving equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.5. 1. Complete ability in performing pile design works including design calculations and design reports.2. Ability to prepare comprehensive method statements for execution of pile works.3. Preparation of work programs using planning software such as Primavera & Microsoft Project.4. Shall be directly responsible for piling works execution at construction site in interaction with the Team Leader & project stakeholders5. Manage site piling issues and ensure the day to day operational control of contracts carried out to the correct work procedures6. Liaising with site teams to ensure that piling works run efficiently focusing on, safety, quality, and productivity and cost control7. Carry out resource planning8. Report to the Team Leader on a day to day basis regarding the progress of works9. Be the Consultant’s nodal officer on field and liaise with stakeholders’ executive engineers and other representatives, in terms of clearances and getting any other required approvals.10. Apply Project Management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard in a timely manner11. Write complex planning reports and undertake peer reviews of reports written by internal staff and sub-consultants12. Must be able to manage own time effectively and priorities tasks.13. Strictly adhere to SMEC’s Business Management System (BMS), Quality Management System (QMS) and OH&S procedures.14.
