Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer at Nordic Seascape Shipping LLC in Dubai. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for handling purchase orders, contract negotiation, and utilizing analytical skills in the procurement and purchasing process. The role of Procurement Officer is to ensure that the vessels, workshops, shipyards or other clients are supplied with authorized stores, spares and other products in a timely manner and approved costs consistent with Company Quality and Purchasing policies at the most competitive costs. Sourcing materials, goods, products and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective deals; Co-ordinate and manage the progress and delivery of orders, resolve any discrepancies; Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers; Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors; Documenting of all activities, maintaining database up to date.
