Accounting Associate and Executive Support
We are looking for a smart, dependable, dedicated Accounting / Finance Associate and Office Support Assistant, who will assist our global operations. The ideal candidate will be someone used to handling sensitive, confidential financial matters and experienced in accounting. This position is responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with company procedures, US GAAP and EU international financial reporting standards . This position will interface with a large variety of internal employees, outside customers and vendors of the company. This position also provides Executive Support to senior management.Responsibilities:1. Accurately and timely recording all financial transactions2. Processing payments to vendors to pay for vendor services and supplies3. Reconciling balance sheet accounts and performing detailed account analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts4. Prepare journal entries as necessary to book accruals and other non-cash transactions5. Process and record incoming payments and deposits in bank6. Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly balancing of books with bank statements for each region7. Ensure backup and related support files for all transactions are kept and maintained for easy reference8. Maintain confidentiality on all transactions9. Support in implementing and maintaining third party systems.10. Review AR and AP Aging reports and ensure that client payments are made timely.11. Oversee and manage travel expense reports12. Handle administrative tasks, email management for Senior Executives.13. Expense Reporting: Assist in processing and tracking expense reports.14. Invoice Reporting: Assist in processing and tracking all billable invoices.15. HR Systems Support: Understand and update all HR records as per compliance requirements.16. Support to Executive: Provide administrative assistance to executives and managers, including calendar management and document preparation.17. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and team-building activities.18. Assist with office admin tasks, client facing requests and follow ups for Sales personnel.19. Collaborate closely with internal and external contacts as well as other company locations to ensure alignment and effective communication.Required Experience / Skills:1. Solid knowledge of accounting principles2. Strong attention to detail3. Excellent organizational skills4. Effective problem-solving skills5. Ability to work well as a team including with staff in other offices6. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism7. Must have exceptional technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.9. Must be Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.10. Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.11. Strong Financial literacy skills and business accounting is a plus.12. Flexibility to work across different time zones and handle a dynamic schedule.13. Skilled dependable person known for abiding by the organization's confidentiality rules and regulations.14. Friendly, outgoing & very personable persona who presents themselves well.15. Self-motivated, team player with a creative interest.Qualifications:16. 1 – 5 years of work experience17. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.18. Additional qualifications like ICWA, CA, CPA, CFA will be a plus but not required.19. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally supporting small / medium sized business.20. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic or any European language is a big plus.21. Must have a valid passport.
