Develop and recommend safety measures to eliminate or control hazardsDesign and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management systems in accordance with international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety laws and regulations. Collaborate with various departments to ensure the safety management system integrates into operational workflows.Able to develop safety training programs and conduct workshops for employees, contractors, and visitors. Perform emergency drills (fire, spill response, emergency evacuation) to ensure preparedness for emergencies.Foster a safety-first culture by promoting best practices and awareness among workers.Perform safety inspections, audits, and evaluations of equipment, processes, and facilities.Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs.Develop and manage safety plans, including emergency response plans.Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used appropriately by workers.Monitor operations involving hazardous materials (oil, gas, chemicals) to ensure proper handling and storage.Conduct job site safety inspections to ensure compliance with company and international codes and standards.Participation in Emergency Response Planning.Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation procedures.Coordinate emergency drills and evaluate the effectiveness of response strategies.Track and report key safety performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.Prepare comprehensive safety reports for internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with project managers, design teams, and contractors to integrate safety into design and operations.Participate in cross-departmental, committee meetings and provide safety recommendations.Engage with management to report on safety metrics, trends, and key findings.Recommend actions to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.Provide safety and health information and expertise to the site team.Monitor, inspect, and audit contractor engineering, construction, or installation safety programs.Provide safety orientations, training, and job site inspection procedures.
