As the Project Engineering Manager, you will help deliver critical grid infrastructure aligned with Saudi Arabia's grid modernisation programme.Key Responsibilities:Lead engineering delivery for HV GIS substations and synchronous condenser systems.Manage design coordination, OEM/vendor integration, and technical documentation.Guide and support discipline leads and junior engineers across GIS, auxiliary, and rotating systems.Develop engineering execution plans aligned with EPC project schedules.Interface with clients and local authorities for technical approvals and design submissions.Oversee design reviews, FAT/SAT, and hazard analysis sessions with stakeholders.Coordinate with site teams, design consultants, and engineering hubs inside and outside Saudi Arabia.Ensure all work complies with Saudi regulations and grid codes, including SEC and ECRA standards.Support document preparation for O&M manuals, as-built records, and technical audits.

We are currently supporting a global engineering, construction and project delivery firm involved in major energy infrastructure programs across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.To support the development of new grid infrastructure and transmission assets, we are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer, with a strong background in HV substation design and layout. Someone one 380kV, 220kV or 132kV substation experience and knowledge of SEC standards is the ideal candidate.
