- Monitor the extrusion process in real-time, adjusting parameters to maintain optimal flow rates and film thickness.
- Conduct regular quality checks on the produced film, using gauges and visual inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly, utilizing diagnostic tools to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs, documenting changes in processes, materials, and outcomes for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to implement improvements based on feedback and testing results.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all phases of the production process.
- Train and mentor junior operators, sharing best practices for safety and efficiency on the production floor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
