Job description

The ideal candidate should have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities. Use insights gathered to develop targeted strategies for business growth.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and requirements to effectively position our exhibition and event solutions and services.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Tailor solutions to meet their specific project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts. Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth handover and execution of projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including design, estimation, and project management to develop innovative solutions that meet client expectations and project objectives.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular reports to senior management. Forecast sales targets and track progress towards achieving them.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's network and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgets.
  • Consult with clients to identify their specific requirements and propose customized solutions that align with their goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling branding services.
  • Need to be able to travel (by own means) within UAE as a part of project execution.
  • Need to be able to handle strong personalities and difficult customers with professionalism.
