Key Responsibilities
Source and qualify new projects through direct clients, consultants, developers, and tender portals.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (clients, consultants, PMC, procurement teams).
Lead pre-qualification submissions and keep vendor registration documents updated.
Manage tender/RFP process in coordination with estimation and technical teams:
document review, site visits, RFIs, subcontractor/supplier quotations, submission coordination.
Support commercial negotiations (pricing, payment terms, retention, penalties, performance guarantees).
Track opportunities in CRM and deliver accurate forecasts and pipeline reports.
Coordinate post-award commercial handover to project teams (scope clarity, timelines, commercial risks).
Support collections follow-up in coordination with finance (commercial coordination, not accounting).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our contracting business through lead generation, tender/RFP management, client engagement, and contract closure. The ideal candidate has experience in construction sales and tender processes.
Requirements:
3–8 years of BD/sales experience in contracting/construction/MEP.
Solid understanding of tendering, BOQs, contracts, and commercial terms.
Strong network in the construction market is preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
CRM + MS Office proficiency; strong reporting discipline.
