Job Title: Chief Technology Officer - Head of Software Development

Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Technology Officer - Head of Software Development to spearhead the development of industrial asset visualization and interaction platforms, enabling advanced engagement with complex geospatial data and digital environments. This role will also lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as AR/VR platforms, simulations, and 360-degree panoramic visualizations to enhance operational workflows and client experiences. The position is pivotal in driving innovation, managing vendor relationships, and building a robust software development roadmap aligned with our mission to transform the geospatial and digital services landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Leadership:
• Define and execute a technology roadmap for industrial asset visualization platforms utilizing AR/VR, simulations, and 360-degree panoramic visualizations.
• Lead the design and development of interactive platforms for real-world simulations, enhancing client engagement and operational efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of advanced visualization tools with existing enterprise systems like SAP and cloud platforms.

1. Product Development:
• Oversee the development of scalable and user-centric products for digital transformation projects.
• Incorporate 3D modeling, digital twins, and immersive technologies into core product offerings.
• Define technical specifications, architecture, and development frameworks for robust software solutions.

1. AR/VR and 360-Degree Visualization:
• Drive the creation of immersive platforms for AR/VR-based simulations and 360-degree panoramic visualizations for various industries, including oil & gas, infrastructure, and digital twins.
• Explore the integration of virtual environments into operational workflows, training modules, and client presentations.

1. AI and Machine Learning:
• Incorporate AI/ML capabilities into software to automate processes, enhance analytics, and provide predictive insights.
• Lead initiatives to integrate AI-based tools into simulation platforms and visualization systems.

1. Enterprise System Integration and API Management:
• Design and implement API-driven architectures for interoperability between proprietary platforms, client systems, and third-party enterprise tools.
• Ensure efficient integration with systems like SAP and other ERPs for seamless data flow and operations.

1. Vendor and Team Management:
• Manage relationships with external software development vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Build and lead an internal team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Define clear KPIs and performance metrics for both internal and external teams.

1. Project Management:
• Develop project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Monitor progress, address technical challenges, and ensure timely delivery of all software initiatives.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all development processes and decisions.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with the CEO, business development teams, and other departments to align technology solutions with client and market needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, showcasing expertise in digital transformation and immersive technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
• 10+ years in software development or technology leadership roles.
• Proven experience with AR/VR platforms, simulations, and 360-degree visualizations.
• Expertise in integrating enterprise systems and API management.
• Strong background in AI/ML technologies and 3D visualization.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
