We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Hydrographic Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine Survey or a related field.
  • Holds an Engineering Licence Card issued by the Department of Municipalities and Transport, with an Engineering Profession designation in Marine Survey Engineering Consultancy.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and execute hydrographic surveys using state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies.
  • Process and analyze survey data to produce high-quality charts and reports for client use.
  • Operate and maintain hydrographic equipment, including multi-beam echosounders, side-scan sonar, and positioning systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey deliverables meet client specifications and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with international survey standards and quality assurance protocols.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with survey systems and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies in hydrographic surveying.
  • Train and mentor junior surveyors and technical staff.
  • Contribute to project planning, including equipment mobilization and risk assessment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide technical expertise and project updates.
