Purpose of the Role:

Arada Group’s Reformatory Lab in Dubai is growing, and we are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Back of House (BOH) operations team.

About the Role

The BOH team is essential to delivering the quality and consistency that define Reformatory Lab’s specialty coffee and culinary experience. Based on your skills and experience, you may be assigned to:

• Commi
• Steward

Key Responsibilities

Commi

• Assist in food preparation and support the culinary team across stations.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and preparation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Support stock rotation, storage, and hygiene.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.

Steward

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Manage dishwashing and support overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with waste management and hygiene compliance.
• Support the culinary team during busy operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commi or Steward in a café/restaurant is preferred.
• Basic understanding of food handling and hygiene.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
