1. Compensation Management Responsibilities:
a) Develop and Manage Compensation Structures: Design, implement, and update salary structures, pay grades, and compensation packages, including evaluating job positions and determining salary levels.
b) Conduct Salary Benchmarking and Market Analysis: Perform benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices and adapt to industry trends.
c) Support Management with Compensation Strategies: Collaborate with HR and management to create and execute compensation strategies and performance-based programs.
d) Monitor Compensation Trends and Provide Recommendations: Track and analyze compensation trends to recommend adjustments and improvements.
2. Payroll Responsibilities:
a) Manage and Oversee Payroll Process: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in employee payments, including processing payroll according to company policy, managing payroll records, and addressing payroll discrepancies.
b) Ensure Compliance with Payroll Laws and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, regulations, benefits deductions, wage garnishments, and stay updated with regulatory changes related to payroll.
c) Analyze Compensation Data and Trends: Analyze and interpret compensation data to assist in developing competitive salary structures and stay updated with market trends and industry standards.
d) Collaborate on Compensation Programs: Work with HR and management to align compensation programs with organizational objectives, and assist in developing and administering bonus, incentive, and recognition programs.
e) Provide Payroll and Compensation Reports: Prepare and distribute detailed reports on payroll costs, compensation trends, and potential areas for improvement to management.
f) Handle Employee Inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and compensation.
3. Compliance:
a) Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
b) Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and compensation guidelines.
c) Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll and compensation.
