Oversee the daily operations of the vertical powder coating process. Manage and lead a team of operators, technicians, and support staff, ensuring smooth workflow and high productivity. Ensure all extrusions are coated in compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Monitor the application of powder coating, ensuring proper coverage and finish. Ensure that the powder coating process produces consistent, high-quality results. Conduct regular quality check and inspections to confirm adherence to product specifications. Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and quality. Maintain records of production outputs, quality control data, and process adjustments. Oversee the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of powder coating machines and equipment. Coordinate with the maintenance department for repairs, upgrades, and any technical issues. Ensure the coating lines are operating at peak efficiency with minimal downtime. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring the work environment remains free of hazards. Train staff in safe handling procedures for powder coating materials and equipment. Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to powder coating processes. Train and mentor new and existing employees on the vertical powder coating process and operational standards. Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to improve individual and team performance.Promote teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within the department. Ensure sufficient inventory levels of powder coating materials (e.g., powder, solvents, etc.). Work closely with the procurement team to manage the purchasing and storage of materials. Assist in managing the waste and disposal of materials according to environmental guidelines. Coordinate with the production and scheduling teams to meet customer deadlines and production goals.Adjust schedules as needed based on production requirements, machine availability, and workforce capacity.
