• A Competent Person (CP) is a person, having suitable sufficient technical knowledge and experience to recognize and avoid danger, use safe method of works and use appropriate PPE, receives and clear SD.
• Is responsible to prepare and obtain all the necessary permits from the government departments required to start the work in his area.
• Obtain the information from site supervisor regarding the activities to be done in prior and plan accordingly.
• To ensure the utilization of all the HSE related precautions and procedures at site.
• Report to site Project Manager regarding any issue with the permits or HSE related.
• CP gives clearance after completion of work and removal of persons, equipment & tools from work location, supervisor must be informed before giving clearance.

Qualification:

• Civil Engineering is a must
• 7 + Years Experience with UAE experience is preferable
