Job Purpose:

The DCIM Operator is responsible to monitor the power supplies and environmental conditions within the DC whitespace areas. To supervise and control the operation of Data Center infrastructure Management (DCIM) whitespace monitoring system .Monitoring the DCIM system and reporting system faults, alerts, alarms and any other anomalies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV systems,

• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.

• Support any afterhours facility needs and activities as required.

• Attend training sessions and seminars.

• Other assigned tasks as requested.

• Work days to be advised.

• Ensure all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies, Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE.

• Operate the DCIM systems including alarm response, alarm resetting, adjusting set point parameters, reporting faults on to the repair team.

• Check routinely for correct operation of all equipment under BMS/SCADA control.

• Provide a high level of customer service to the client and site personnel.

• Perform daily auditing of IT system performance by utilizing the facilities built on the DCIM e.g. datalogging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.

• Provide help desk service for reactive calls, answer phone in timely and polite phone manner.

• Work within shift rota days and nights 24/7
