The role is expected to plan, manage eHealth scope, resources and reporting across the program for all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining technology initiatives within the eHealth blueprint; Acts as the single point of contact for the eHealth program on technology deliverables across all areas of the program assuring high performance, consistency, reliability and scalability of all technology offerings.
Effectively lead and manage a team of technical specialists, and system analysts responsible for supporting the QHIE-Hub solutions and Infrastructure implementation activities and maintain thereafter. This group will also support the designing and building the eHealth ecosystem in line with the QHIE-Hub program implementation and in support of the eHealth vision
Provide directions, develop, and mentor the information technology staff within the eHealth department
Develop, maintain, and manage the overall technology resource plan to ensure technology resources are assigned to all projects under the eHealth program in a timely manner
Proactively develop, support, and strategically manage the highly complex eHealth ecosystem
Work hand-in-hand with vendor(s) on the implementation of a nation-wide platform in support of the eHealth vision
Ensure all projects have an appropriate level of detail in the requirements and acquires acceptance of the requirements from all eHealth Managers and stakeholders
Manage and contribute to architectural review processes for projects and liaise heavily with the solutions architects maintaining standards during eHealth program implementation
Implement and maintain all integration activities using latest technology integration engines
Develop and maintain the information security policies along with specific supporting policies, ensuring successful eHealth program implementation, appropriate authorization, commitment and endorsement from all stakeholder
Identify, facilitate, & drive resolution of all eHealth program technology related issues and risks
Coordinate and facilitate Program meetings and working sessions including weekly progress meetings, design sessions, requirements reviews, etc.
Contribute and manage all agreed service level agreements to ensure that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the services are maintained at the levels agreed in SLAs during and post going live with various technological solutions
Establish a periodic and on-going reporting mechanism to keep management and all stakeholder abreast on all activities during the eHealth program implementation
