Job Summary:
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for cladding projects in the Oil & Gas sector. This includes analyzing project specifications, preparing material and labor cost breakdowns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimation, cladding processes, and the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for cladding projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Prepare and present cost estimates, including breakdowns and assumptions, to senior management and clients.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain a database of cost data, historical bids, and market trends to improve estimation accuracy.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities during the estimation process and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry standards, material costs, and technological advancements in cladding and Oil & Gas.
