Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Head to oversee the financial management and strategy of our Ferropan Gulf operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate finance, budget management, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance within the oil and gas industry. As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Head will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing risks, and ensuring financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
    • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to the executive team.

Cost Control and Optimization

    • Monitor operating expenses and ensure cost efficiency across all business units.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects, investments, and asset acquisitions.

Accounting and Compliance

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax laws and reporting standards.
    • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Risk Management

    • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks related to market volatility, foreign exchange, and regulatory changes.
    • Manage insurance, contracts, and hedging activities to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as a key liaison with banks, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide regular financial updates to the board of directors and shareholders.

Qualifications

Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable.

Experience:

    • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the oil and gas industry.
    • Proven track record in financial strategy, cost management, and regulatory compliance.

Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of oil and gas financial operations, including exploration, production, and downstream activities.
    • Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
