The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Central Production Unit (CPU) kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow, quality control, hygiene compliance, and timely food preparation. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and activities to ensure efficient production and quality standards.
- Monitor food preparation, portioning, and packaging according to company guidelines.
- Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are strictly followed, in compliance with local food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for stock replenishment.
- Assist in staff training, performance monitoring, and resolving operational issues.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and report any malfunctions.
- Work closely with chefs and management to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory role within a central kitchen or large-scale food production unit.
- Education: Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge: HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
