1. CDP (Chef de Partie)
- Supervise and manage a section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, saucier).
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with the menu.
- Ensure that food is presented to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Maintain stock levels and reorder supplies when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including DCDPs and kitchen assistants.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the head chef or sous chef on menu planning and new dishes.
- Monitor food wastage and ensure cost control.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is well maintained and report any issues.
2. DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie)
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of dishes.
- Take charge of the section when the Chef de Partie is unavailable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned station.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Help with inventory management and stock control.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Support the team with daily food prep and cooking tasks.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train junior staff and apprentices in specific tasks when required.
- Actively participate in food production, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Communicate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
3. Barista
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks.
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, workstations, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that the coffee machine and other equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.
- Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or light snacks if required.
- Handle cash, process payments, and give change.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and inform management when items need restocking.
- Create a pleasant and inviting atmosphere by interacting positively with customers.
- Stay knowledgeable about coffee trends and drink recipes.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including food handling and cleanliness.
