- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage the reservation system and seating chart to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times.
- Assist guests with special requests, including accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
- Collaborate with servers, managers, and other staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
- Monitor and manage the waitlist, providing accurate wait time estimates to guests.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and promotions to guests.
- Uphold company standards of service and adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
