Overview of the role: To provide support to Health & Safety department in daily operations.

What you will do:

• Oversee daily operations of soft services, including cleaning, housekeeping, and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
• Drive IKEA employee engagement and participation.
• Identify and recommend additional service opportunities and improvements.
• Implement innovations and efficiencies in cleaning services.
• Manage budgets, control expenditures, and forecast costs.
• Monitor and report performance, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met/exceeded.
• Supervise waste management and develop service improvement plans.
• Ensure vendor compliance with IKEA procedures.
• Seek technical expertise when needed to follow correct procedures.
• Conduct audits and safety awareness initiatives, including bi-weekly safety conversations.
• Lead, coach, and develop employees and third-party contractors.
• Organize and participate in monthly and quarterly subcontractor review meetings.
