- Conduct thorough surveillance of infections, analyze data, and identify trends to proactively address potential outbreaks and implement targeted interventions.
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs for healthcare staff on infection control practices, emphasizing proper hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation protocols.
- Investigate and manage infection control breaches, including outbreaks, implementing corrective actions and reporting to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and environmental services, to ensure a coordinated approach to infection prevention.
- Develop and update infection control policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based, current, and accessible to all staff members.
