· Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings such as equipment lay out, Cable tray / ladder layout, P & IDs, general arrangement drawings and instrument hook up drawings.
· Understand the principles of basic instrumentation requirements.
· Ability to identify, select, and safely operate all instrumentation tools such as hand benders, Hydraulic benders, bench benders etc
· Ability to perform various bends, offsets and stack up to 5 tubing line consecutively to device or rack.
· Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install primary piping and tubing including stainless steel tubes, Galvanized pipes, Cable trays / ladders in various sizes and lengths.
· Competence to identify type and sizes of pipes, tubes, and related materials as per the drawings.
· Assemble and install Instrument Stands, control panels, JB’s, instruments, trays / ladders.
· Expertise to measure, cut, thread, and install small bore piping for pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
· Able to perform / assist pressure testing of installed tubes and small-bore pipes.
· Knowledge on specifications and standards about instrumentation activities in Oil and Gas industry.
· Ability to communicate with colleagues and supervisors
· Ensure compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
