Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Joinery Production Supervisor/Manager
to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our joinery production facility. The ideal
candidate will have comprehensive experience in the joinery industry, with a strong understanding
of production workflows, technical drawings, and quality standards. The Supervisor will be
responsible for ensuring that all joinery products are produced on time, within budget, and to the
highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring
efficient workflow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to production
schedules.
• Oversee the production of custom joinery products, ensuring that all specifications,
drawings, and requirements are met.
• Monitor production targets and implement corrective actions to address any
production delays or issues.
Technical Expertise:
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for joinery
projects, ensuring that production processes are aligned with design requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to the team on how to interpret drawings and resolve any
production challenges.
• Assist with the selection of appropriate materials and ensure they meet project
specifications.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote team productivity
and morale.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience:
o Minimum 8 years of experience in joinery or carpentry.
o In-depth knowledge of joinery production processes, technical drawings,
materials, and tools.
o Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, CAD
designs, and blueprints.
o Strong understanding of quality control standards and best practices in the
joinery industry.
Education:
• Formal training in joinery, carpentry, or a related field.
