Job Objective:
The Landscape Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and managing landscape projects to enhance outdoor environments, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design & Planning: Develop landscape designs and plans that meet client specifications and environmental standards.
· Project Management: Oversee landscape projects from conception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
· Site Assessment: Conduct assessments of sites to analyze conditions, soil types, and existing vegetation.
· Collaboration: Work with architects, urban planners, and other engineers to integrate landscape designs into broader project plans.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all landscape designs comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental guidelines.
· Sustainability Practices: Incorporate sustainable practices into designs, including water management and native plant usage.
· Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide project updates and recommendations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years in landscape design or engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
