The purpose of a Licensing Specialist is to ensure that all necessary licenses and permits are obtained and maintained in order to keep the department of energy compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
The specialist will be responsible for anyone who is researching, applying for license and permits and shall deal with new, or renewal or modified license and permits applications as well as ensuring that any changes in laws are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Additionally, the specialist will work closely with other teams to ensure that the necessary paperwork and information are in place for the successful completion of licensing activities.
A Licensing Specialist is responsible for managing the licensing process in department of energy.
This includes researching and evaluating potential licensees, negotiating license terms and conditions and providing ongoing support and guidance to licensees.
They must ensure that the services are sold and distributed in accordance with applicable Abu Dhabi laws and regulations. They must also ensure that the intellectual property rights are protected and that all legal requirements are met.
Advise clients on licensing requirements.
Process and manage license applications.
Ensure that license applications are accurately completed.
Monitor license renewals and expirations.
Conduct research on licensing regulations.
Liaise with government officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
Developing the licensing services cards and procedures.
