Job Purpose:

  • Facilitating the movement of goods across international borders and ensuring that shipments comply with customs and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for preparing or handling documents such as Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoice, Airway Bills, Ocean Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoices, Certificate of origin, Bill of entry.
  • Arranging customs clearance for Import & Export shipments by sea, air or land transport.
  • Follow up the cycle for attestation of the documents from different e-portals such Dubai/ Sharjah Chambers, state department…etc..
  • Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, inventory management, and transportation, to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
  • Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
  • Maintaining records for shipment and inventory documents to keep all records accurate and up to date.
  • Prepares loads for shipment.
  • Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
  • Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
  • Stay up to date with import and export regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures in various countries.
