As a Cleaning and Waste Manager at you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sustainability of our facilities. You will oversee all aspects of cleaning operations, waste management, and recycling programs. This role is essential in promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace
Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning and sanitation protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all facilities.
· Supervise and lead cleaning staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
· Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked.
· Regularly inspect facilities to assess cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
Collaborate with vendors to procure cleaning products and services efficiently
· New projects, initiatives, and challenges emerge regularly. As a dynamic Cleaning and Waste Manager, you will be expected to adapt swiftly to changing priorities and be open to innovative solutions.
· Whether it's accommodating unexpected waste disposal needs or adjusting cleaning schedules to meet evolving demands, your ability to embrace change and make quick decisions will be highly valued.
· Establish and manage waste disposal and recycling programs in compliance with local regulations and sustainability goals.
· Monitor waste generation and implement strategies to reduce waste production.
· Coordinate the collection, sorting, and disposal of waste and recyclables.
· Maintain accurate waste records and report on waste diversion and recycling rates.
Identify opportunities for waste reduction and cost savings
· Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as energy conservation, water usage reduction, and environmentally friendly cleaning practices.
· Stay updated on environmental regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote sustainability awareness and education among employees
· Prepare and oversee budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and waste management services.
· Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.
Optimize resource allocation for cleaning and waste management operations
· Ensure that all cleaning and waste management activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
· Conduct safety training for cleaning staff and maintain safety documentation.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or hazards and implement corrective actions
