- Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers and proposal managers to define project scope.
- Review and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and schematics.
- Use estimation software to prepare accurate cost calculations.
- Issue RFQs to vendors and obtain quotations for various mechanical equipment/components.
- Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and select suitable materials/equipment with the Lead Mechanical Engineer & Proposal Leader.
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals for mechanical projects.
- Monitor project progress, reporting any deviations from estimated costs.
- Support project implementation to ensure adherence to budget.
