Collaborate closely with engineers to develop wiring details and construction plans for MV/LV substation and switchgear projects.
Create and prepare technical shop drawings for approval, fabrication drawings for production, and as-built documents after customer inspection.
Utilize specialized computer software to automate design, calculate quantities, and check for errors.
Regularly update and contribute to the maintenance of CAD and schematic diagrams libraries.
Serve as a technical resource for interns and other team members who use drafting software less frequently.
Minimum Qualifications:
CAD certification and a minimum of 3 years of relevant MV/LV Substation and Switchgear design experience (experience with "BlokSet" LV switchgear is preferred).
Solid understanding of electrical circuits’ theory and control diagrams for MV/LV substations and switchgear.
Required Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical CAD design software.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to work with minimal supervision.
