Experience
• Perform all Production Control tasks associated with the creation of vehicle and equipment maintenance orders, updating maintenance status’ and entering direct labour man-hour data in CMMS.
• Monitor vehicle servicing KPIs during the maintenance repair cycle.
• Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 program.
• Coordinate with GMC representatives for the receipt and return of vehicles and/or equipment.
• Update CMMS as it applies to equipment asset management, supply chain management, work management and maintenance management.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control Inspectors (QCIs) for the receipt of all vehicle and/or equipment inspection results.
• Create maintenance orders, attach job plans, update vehicle and/or equipment maintenance statuses, post actual direct labour man-hours and enter other pertinent data in CMMS.
• Schedule, initiate, update and monitor both PM and CM maintenance orders within CMMS.
• Prepare job packets, control vehicle keys and coordinate vehicle and/or equipment movement.
• Work with GMC representatives for all additional maintenance task and/or material approvals.
• Review all maintenance data in order to identify maintenance program deficiencies and recommend solutions.
• Establish and maintain all maintenance and production related files.
• Ensure all property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
• Support other members of the Production Control Department in fulfilling their roles.
• Comply with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
• Perform other duties as required by their line manager and the Senior Manager, Production Control and Information Technology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of production control experience is required.
• Previous experience with any CMMS enterprise (e.g. SAP or MAXIMO) is required.
• Excellent organisational skills and familiarity with the analysis of information and data is preferred.
• Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services is required.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies, practices and processes in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software is required.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
