Quality, Safety, & Environment
•Ensure that the project Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Security requirements and procedures are met throughout the project.
•Address issues on a timely manner to prevent impacting people and environment.
•Audit violations, investigate, and create control mechanism to ensure that the same issues don’t reoccur.
•Keep track of incidents and report them to concern teams.
•Attend mandatory training and ensure that the project team attendance.
•Define the contract quality requirements to support the ISO 9001 registration
Business & Client Relationship:
•Maintain relations with clients by meeting them regularly for project update and expectation management.
•Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues with the client as they arise, in conjunction with the project management team.
•Retention of existing clients and gaining new clients.
Financial & Commercial Management:
•Take full technical and commercial responsibility for execution of the contract in all matters covered within the terms of the contract (from initial contract review to project close-out).
•Ensure that project costs remain tracked and within the planned budget.
•Review budgets for optimal cost-benefit ratio and for return on investment.
•Manage and co-ordinate the activities regarding Contract Estimating, Cost Control and Change Order Administration and Review.
•Monitor all cost aspects of the contract to forecast costs, obtain client approvals, and identify trends.
People Management:
•Define the roles and responsibilities of the project key personnel and evaluate their performance in a regular basis.
•Listen to the team, discuss their challenges, resolve problems, and direct activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives.
•Organize the project team and their daily activities while providing guidance on priorities.
•Verify and select key personnel for administrative and technical jobs.
•Train and transfer knowledge and skills to subordinates.
•Motivate and engage the team for better performance.
Risk Management:
•Identify contract risks and opportunities and monitor their closure.
•Maintain the risk management focus throughout the project duration.
•Provide guidance and advise to the project team on how to minimize risks.
•Assess the risk factors in a regular basis and study their impact on the project and on the company.
Business Operations:
•Manage the assigned project from initiation to closure on time and within budget.
•Develop and maintain effective working practices for the project team.
•Set the objectives for each project contributor internally and externally.
•Continuously monitor project progress and its deliverables in line with the project schedule.
•Create new project plans to cover project scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
•Manage the client’s expectations by evaluating their requirements and assessing whether the these can be achieved with the current resources.
•Accurate, timely and effective progress reporting to the client and internally to the management.
•Monitor the communications between the different project parties such as clients, contractors, vendors, etc.
•Ensure the availability of materials and resources required at the different stages of the project.
