• Analyze tender documents to understand technical and commercial requirements
• Gain clarity on construction methods and project scope
• Prepare invitation to bid packages for suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate bids both technically and commercially
• Assist in compiling bid tabulations and recommend preferred suppliers/sub-contractors
• Attend client meetings with Manager to address commercial and technical queries
• Provide insights and technical clarifications as required
• Prepare a synopsis of tender requirements including terms such as payment, insurance, liabilities, warranties, liquidated damages, and bonds
• Consult with Legal Advisor to ensure compliance and protect company interests
• Collate and prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with client specifications
• Submit proposals to Manager for review and approval prior to client submission
• Prepare technical and commercial documents post-award for handover to Project Manager, Project Controls, and relevant operational departments
• Ensure seamless transition and clarity on project requirements
• Attend site visits as necessary to gather relevant project information
• Coordinate with estimators and budget controllers to ensure accurate cost estimations and pricing efficiency
• Ensure all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
• Uphold company policies and procedures related to safety and environmental practices
