Lead QA/QC department activities, Co-ordinate with client, TPI, and ASME AI in inspection related activities. Manage and supervise all the Inspections, NDE, and testing related activities including sub-contractors work for new construction, repair work, and alterations.
Establish Quality Standards as a central technical resource for all QA/QC activities in OGASCO. Establish appropriate quality standard codes of practice and specifications to ensure quality of processes, jobs, materials, equipment and follow up their implementation throughout the Company.
Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to International Codes, Standards, Regulations, Project specific Specifications, and QMS requirements and advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Manage the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including:
Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules;
Establishing Project specific Quality Plan & procedures for end users or client;
Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs;
Development of PQP, QCP, Procedures, ITP, Format, WPS/PQR, Welding requirements, by studying Contract & Specifications thoroughly to meet Customer’s expectation/requirements comprehensively. Review and approval of Sub-Contractor documents like PQP, QCP, Welding procedure, ITP and other QA/QC documentation and procedures.
Coordinate and resolve QA/QC related problems as required to support the execution team or sub-contractors in the execution of planned work activities so as not to impact the planned work in place for the activity. Describe in a timely manner so as to eliminate or minimize the impact to the project schedule by timely implementation of the required corrective action plan.
Maintain a knowledge base of all services available to clients/users and work with client/user representatives to determine service level requirements. Ensure that all operational logging and reporting procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently, in accordance with agreed standards and operational procedures.
Review potential vendors and contractor’s quality documentation and takes part in vendor/contractor technical bead evaluation process. Vendor & Sub-Contractor qualification audit and yearly performance evaluation. Effective review and approval of vendor documents and procedures. TPI arrangement for inspection/test activities as per PO & ITP requirements.
Oversee the development and maintenance of Quality Assurance & Control documents as required by contract for turn over to a client, and ensure that they are up-to-date at all times.
