Develop and implement quality control procedures for assessing paper properties such as grammage (GSM), moisture content, tensile strength, and color consistency.
Ensure that raw materials (e.g., kraft liner, test liner, recycled liner) meet specific quality standards and are consistent across batches.
Conduct inspections on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications for strength, durability, and aesthetic quality.
Die-Cut Selection and Sizing:
Analyze product requirements and customer specifications to determine appropriate die-cuts and ensure that the sizing of each product is correct.
Work with the production team to select and verify die-cut dimensions, layouts, and designs, ensuring products meet exact size and shape specifications for packaging.
Optimize die-cut designs to minimize waste and increase efficiency, considering material usage and production constraints.
Operational Oversight and Process Improvement:
Oversee general production processes to ensure they align with quality standards and recommend improvements where necessary.
Conduct root cause analysis on production defects and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Monitor process parameters, track quality metrics, and provide regular reports on quality performance to management.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 9001, as well as health, safety, and environmental regulations in the cardboard manufacturing industry.
Establish and uphold safety protocols related to quality control processes, including the handling of materials and machinery in production.
