Strategic Planning & Leadership:
Develop and implement the company's QHSE strategy aligned with business goals and industry standards
Lead the QHSE team and work with senior management to incorporate safety, quality, and environmental best practices into all company activities.
Lead teams at numerous construction sites to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Health, Safety:
Overseeing policy and program implementation across all locations, as well as conducting frequent site inspections and audits to ensure safety measures are followed.
Investigate incidents and accidents to ensure proper reporting, analysis, and corrective actions are taken.
Promote a robust safety culture throughout all levels of the company.
Create and deliver safety training programs for workers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Control:
Establish and implement quality control methods to guarantee all construction projects meet the appropriate quality standards and specifications.
Lead the creation and assessment of project-specific quality strategies and documentation.
Ensure effective monitoring, inspection, and testing of materials and processes to meet established quality standards.
Oversee the implementation of quality management systems to ensure construction projects meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality control measures are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions
Compliance & Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential hazards and risks to health, safety, and the environment across all projects and workplaces.
Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation, including the introduction of preventive measures and emergency response plans.
Monitor and evaluate risk management performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
Environmental Management:
Develop and enforce environmental policies to minimize the company’s ecological footprint.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable construction practices.
Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource usage
Crisis Management and Emergency Preparedness:
Create and update emergency response plans for building sites, making sure that every team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle any emergencies.
Oversee incident response activities, including liaising with outside organizations (such as fire departments, ambulance services, etc.).
Regularly practice emergency procedures through simulations and drills.
