Job Purpose:
To promote sales and effectively contribute to achieving the department’s sales and revenue budget. Plan and execute marketing strategies to achieve or exceed sales/profit targets for the products
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
• Generate enquiries through the effective identification of potential customers, understand their business requirements and present the company’s products and services in a manner that translates into business for the company.
• Recommend annual sales and profit budget for this segment, based on the past performance, and expected future demand, and upon approval of the same from Sales Manager ensure achievement of projected target.
• Regularly visit the existing as well as prospective customer to establish/maintain healthy and profitable relationship and to find out their present and future demand to be able to meet them in time.
• Conduct market intelligence survey to keep track of the competitor’s business policy, pricing structure, discount policy etc to support team’s business strategies to beat the competition.
• Review actual sales against budget regularly and ensure that the sale is proceeding in accordance with the projection.
• Explore new avenues of business to enhance the volume of sales and profit.
• Regularly monitor the outstanding debt statement and follow up to ensure collection of the credit in time and in full to avoid loss of money or litigation.
• Prepare and provide for all necessary reports as required by the Sales Manager in a timely and accurate manner and adhere to all company policies and procedures as applicable.
