Job description
To ensure DWS clients’ needs are met, you’ll liaise regularly with clients, other sales personnel, and colleagues.
Your day-to-day tasks are likely to involve:
- Searching for new clients who could benefit from DWS products and solutions
- Travelling to visit potential clients
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements in IT products, solutions and managed services
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Preparing client quotations
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Analysing costs and sales
- Preparing sales reports
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Helping in the design of customer solutions
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- Coordinating sales projects
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
- Offering after-sales support services and Solving client problems
