1. Prepares and/or review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.
2. Perform hands-on role of Projects Architect and coordinate a team of other architects, structural engineers, and MEP engineers
3. Liaise with client representatives, consultant, site engineers and subcontractors on issues related to architectural works.
4. Review architectural Shop drawings for compliance with IBC code, Local requirements, project Specification & Tender drawings.
5. Reviews Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to accepted guidelines. Approve and Sign plans that meet required Specifications.
6. Inspecting of contractor submittals such as (ITR) Request for inspector of work, (MIR) Material Inspection Requesting.
7. Attend coordination meetings with project team, client, sub-contractors and other stakeholders
8. Follow up as per (EI) Engineers Instructions & (NOV) Notice of Variation.
9. Site inspection and Supervision of Buildings during, after construction for Architectural Quality, general safety and conformance to specification and codes.
10. Issuing Site work instruction and Non-Conformity report as necessary to correct.
11. Gives clear, concise, and understanding instructions to contractors to avoid abortive works and errors.
12. Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs, site layouts, and specification, construction methods.
13. Carry out final inspection, prepare a snag list and ensure all snags are amended by contractors.
14. Consult with main consultant, contractors, engineers, and other key members to ensure that ongoing development as well as structural supports are properly incorporated into their designed structures throughout the project life cycle
