JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF SPIR-FIELD COORDINATOR
1. Educational qualifications- must be completed graduation/diploma in any discipline.
2. Must have more than 10 years’ experience in oil & gas/chemical industry. Must have more than 5
years’ experience as supervisor/QC Inspector and remaining years of experience as Field
coordinator/Sr. supervisor/QC inspector.
3. Candidates will be preferred with at least 2 certificates i.e. CISRS (Supervisor)/BGAS or
NACE/API936/ICorr.
4. Must have good understanding of reporting- verification of progress reports.
5. Must be good in coordination with subcontractor/contractor partner for day-to-day activities.
6. Must be able to read, write and speak the English.
7. Must have good knowledge of Scaffold, Insulation, Painting and Refractory activities.
8. Must have good knowledge of reading the Scaffold design, P&ID and ISOMETRICs.
9. Must have a knowledge of scaffold volume measurement, surface area of Insulated and Painting
surfaces.
10. Must have good knowledge of Industries spec and DEPs.
11. Must be fully aware with safety aspects of Oil & gas/chemical industries.
12. Assist the block lead/planning engineer/planner in coordination of work execution.
13. Be skilled in Shutdown/Turnaround work on plant areas in oil and gas facilities.
14. Be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and shall have a suitable knowledge of
industrial safety.
15. Be able to exert full disciplinary and trade control over the artisans.
16. Be able to communicate in the English (IELTS 5 Equivalent) and the language of his artisans.
17. He shall be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and shall be able to speak, read and
write in the English language.
18. Be capable of organizing the works to be carried out and coordinating with CONTRACTOR’s
site Representative and communicate with the COMPANY Representative and the use of the
SAP/CMMS.
19. Shall be certified medically fit for Scaffolding works and works at height.
20. He is responsible to keep all records, weather conditions, keep all paint records and materials
data sheets.
21. He shall maintain all equipment and with calibrated and shall bear valid calibration stickers.
22. Should demonstrate an understanding of HSE issues.
